About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Education and Human Sciences. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and values-driven leader with a distinguished record in academic leadership and scholarship. This pivotal role involves providing strategic leadership to a large faculty and staff, overseeing a diverse range of academic programs, and fostering a culture of excellence in education, research, and service. The Dean will be expected to articulate an inclusive vision that honors the School's legacy while driving innovation and will be responsible for uniting the academic community around a shared mission of preparing ethical and thoughtful leaders in education and the human sciences. Candidates for the Dean position must be qualified for appointment as a tenured full professor in one of the departments of the School and have a strong background in higher education administration, including experience in budgeting, and strategic planning. A robust research background, a track record of supporting research excellence and student success, and a commitment to transparency are essential. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and have strong communication skills. Fundraising experience is preferred. The Dean will play a key role in advancing the School's mission-based priorities and will be instrumental in guiding the institution into its next era of excellence.
