Job Description

The OR staff provides comprehensive perioperative care across a broad range of specialties. Multidisciplinary collaboration ensures effective care for complex and diverse surgical needs. Staff should be comfortable handling a fast-paced environment with a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics and critical care patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide perioperative care for general and specialty surgeries.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Support a fast-paced surgical environment involving diverse patient populations.


• Handle a variety of cases, including orthopedic, neurological, and urology procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current nursing license verified through Nursys.


• Completion of Bassett Core Competencies and Skills Checklists.


• Up-to-date vaccinations and health screenings, including MMR, Hepatitis B, and TB Test.


• Two professional references and a criminal background check are required.
