Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Petersburg, Virginia.

Job Posting: Remote M/S Tele Unit 5E Nurse

Position Details:

• Location: Remote (Travel candidates only; must be 50 miles outside of facility)
• Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, every other weekend/holiday required
• Experience Required:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • 1 year of travel experience
  • Surgical experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
• Certification: BLS required
• Exam: Dysrhythmia exam needed (Study guide available in Simplify Library)

Unit Specific Details:

• Unit Type: Mixed surgical unit (General surgery, traumas, smaller ortho cases)
• Bed Capacity: 30 beds (can flex to 37 beds)
• Patient Type: Surgical unit with status post trauma patients
• Support Staff: Monitor Techs read/interpret strips, Phlebotomy, 1-2 CNAs per shift, sitters
• Floating: Possible to other med/surg units
• Scrub Color: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two
• Ratios: 1:5-6
