Needed Immediately: A Structural Detailer responsible for building structural steel construction models and creating parts, fabrication, and installation drawings for large manufacturing plants. Structural plate and mild steel drafting and detailing experience is preferred. AutoCAD is required. Required: AutoCAD 0-10 years + experience Proficiency with Algebra and Trigonometry Preferred: Tekla or SDS/2 Industrial Manufacturing facilities Associates or Bachelors Degree Experience with pre-engineered buildings OR conventional steel detailing Metal Building or Structural Steel Detailing background (highly preferred) Job Duties: Detail building parts and create fabrication drawings from engineering design and project notes Create erection drawings, approval drawings, permit drawings, and anchor rod drawings Develops own basic product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledge Uploads parts and edit parts into the manufacturing system and releases to manufacturing Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner Assures customer service needs are met by meeting schedules Focuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team Experience level=0-10 years Training available Pay Range=$45-$55k If you are a Structural Detailer or Cad Technician looking for a growth oriented position, please send your resume. wendyc@selectek.com Wendy Colaiacovo 678-802-6616
