cFocus Software seeks a Site Lead/Senior GIS Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Customer and Border Protection (CBP). This position is fully remote. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or other related fields 8+ years of experience in GIS work with at least 2 years of experience in a direct supervisory role of fellow GIS professionals Experience with imagery and image analysis Experience shall include generating complex, multi-layered maps and performing complex geospatial analyses. Shall be knowledgeable in GIS technologies, best practices, and concepts Familiar with relational database fundamentals and concepts Have experience in the development of GIS applications using mobile and web-based mapping platforms. Shall have the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical computer users, both orally and in writing. Duties: Serves as the senior site lead across any remote sites or office locations. Document and monitor assigned tasks and act as senior analyst, providing support and guidance to GIS Analysts and GIS Developers in the performance of complex geospatial analysis. Anticipate problems and provide mitigation and issue resolution. Schedule and assign duties to subordinates and complete tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
