A prestigious Am Law 200 firm is seeking a senior-level investment funds attorney to join its Washington, DC office. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support for closed-end funds, including business development companies and tender offer funds

• Advise on matters related to open-end funds and ETFs

• Draft, review, and analyze complex legal documentation

• Ensure compliance with the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act

• Collaborate with cross-functional legal and regulatory teams

Qualifications:

• Over 4 years of legal experience focused on investment fund matters

• In-depth knowledge of the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act

• Strong background in closed-end funds; experience with ETFs and open-end funds is a plus

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school

• Bar admission in Washington, DC

• Strong academic performance, writing ability, and interpersonal communication skills
