Job Description

Duration: 1 year
Onsite in Long Island City, NY

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

 

Qualifications:

  •  4+ years of experience as a software developer.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • At least 4 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher.At least 4 years of experience writing complex queries in T-SQL.
  • At least 4 years of experience developing reports using SSRS.
  • 4 Experience developing web applications in C# using MVC, XML, and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives within timeline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus but not mandatory.
