Overview Policy and Public Affairs Coordinator, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON UNION This is a full and permanent role based at our Bloomsbury campus with hybrid working flexibility (40/60, 40% in the office). We are looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Coordinator to develop and support strategies that strengthen policy and national influencing capacity, build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, and ensure that students’ voices are heard on issues that affect them. This role supports UCL Union’s mission to provide an outstanding experience for all UCL students and to be one of the best student unions in the UK and the world, contributing to the Student Life Strategy and to the local community. Responsibilities Develop and support strategies that strengthen policy and national influencing capacity. Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Ensure students’ voices are heard on issues that affect them. Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to initiatives under the Student Life Strategy (mental and physical wellbeing, equity, skills development, international connections, intercultural engagement). Qualifications/Requirements Entry level position. Hours: Full-time; flexible working options considered (part-time, flexible, and job share wherever possible). Experience or interest in policy, public affairs, or student representation is desirable.
