Salary Range: $37.50 - $62.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Specialist who is passionate about making a difference. You will:

• Plan, organize, and deliver effective physical therapy programs aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, strengthening, and preventing deformities in clients/patients/residents.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations for individuals affected by injury or disease.
• Utilize a variety of tools and techniques for interventions while maintaining safety protocols.
• Document client/patient/resident information accurately for evaluation and develop therapeutic plans tailored to their needs.
• Educate clients/patients/residents and their families on treatment plans and self-exercises for at-home continuation.
• Adapt treatment approaches based on age-related needs and demonstrate knowledge of current research in physical therapy practices.

This role may involve treating individuals of various ages and conditions, adhering to established clinical practice guidelines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Flexibility with work schedules and assignments.
• Engagement in department activities to promote our organization.
• Collaboration with external individuals, including providers and case managers.
• Supervision and support of assistants, aides, and students in client care.
• Providing ongoing training to team members based on expertise.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the manager.

You will mainly focus on providing care in post-acute, long-term care, and home health environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, required for state licensure.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary based on job requirements.
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 60 days of employment.
