Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking an IT Agile Coach who has strong experience to support one of our global Healthcare devices / Life Science clients, based out of Pittsburg, PA. This role will work onsite at client location.

This Agile Coach is a solution-oriented leader and trainer that can apply coaching techniques to facilitate and coordinate with excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple locations in US from scope to realization. The Agile Coach will be adept at building and maintaining relationships at technical and business levels; customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance short & long-term business needs against constraints. The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching the team and leading all aspects of assigned projects and programs from initiation through delivery using relevant iterative/ Agile processes and can work with minimal oversight.

Job Responsibilities Include :

• Partner with cross-functional teams – Business Units, manufacturing / site operations, technology groups
• Mentor and Agile trainer for a team
• Lead and Coach different teams to implement Projects
• Accountable to help the teams apply Scrum, Agile and Lean thinking, and to provide training to the team on Agile process, velocity, quality, impediment removal etc.
• Help teams to establish meaningful KPIs and metrics to track progress focused around agile transformation and maturity
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, customer relationships and third-party vendors as needed, including managing a highly complex political environment
• Work side-by-side with new Agile teams to ensure they are skilled up and empowered for success
• Support the continued development of the internal best practices repository
• Interact with teams to identify opportunities for conversion to Agile (or Scaled Agile)
• Coach scrum teams in agile value and best practices
• Provide thought leadership on Lean, Agile and SAFe best practices
• Identify opportunities for IT process standardization, document findings and recommendations
• Manage multiple product Scrum / work teams (internal, external, & for multiple divisions) in parallel, with regular standups, promoting team collaboration, innovation, and quality outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems or a related field of study, Master’s degree is a plus
• Minimum of 4 years Agile Coach experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience to train/coach teams and organizations in Agile concepts, principles, practices and methods
• Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations
• Experience delivering outcomes within multiple / hybrid methodologies
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and Power BI
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in the development of agile metrics to incentivize best practice behaviors at all levels of the organization
• Proven experience of coaching and leading Agile and Scaled Agile tools, including JIRA contributing towards agile transformations
• Experience with Planview Lean kit /Agile Place, Planview Enterprise One a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
• Excellent team player and team builder
• Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities
• Has strong experience in iterative/agile methodologies, lean budget, managing solution deployments, process improvements, provide training to team
• Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines
