🌿 Residential Landscape Design–Build | Northern Virginia About Us Landed designs, builds, and maintains high-end residential outdoor spaces in Northern Virginia. For over 20 years, we’ve partnered with homeowners to uncover, experience, and share the joy hidden in their outdoor spaces. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Landscape Designer to join our design-build team. This role works closely with our Sales Lead to translate client visions into fully realized plans, estimates, and production-ready construction documents. 📝 Job Responsibilities Design Development Create complete conceptual and master plans for residential outdoor living spaces, including landscape, hardscape, lighting, and other site elements. Draft detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign for presentation boards). Prepare clear and compelling visual presentation materials for client meetings in collaboration with the Sales Lead. Estimating and Project Documentation Develop accurate project estimates using our estimating software (LMN). Source material and subcontractor pricing as needed to support estimating. Ensure designs meet budgetary and constructability requirements. Pre-Production and Construction Documentation Produce complete construction document sets, including layout plans, material callouts, construction details, and elevations. Organize and deliver comprehensive sold job packets for the production team to ensure smooth handoffs. Support the production team with design clarifications during project build as needed. Internal Collaboration and Organization Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation within company systems. Participate in design review meetings to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company standards. Track project progress and update key internal stakeholders. 🎓 Knowledge & Experience Required Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Hardscape Design, Construction, Horticulture, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of residential landscape design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Photoshop, InDesign, and other graphic software skills preferred. Experience estimating in LMN or similar software a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
