Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will support the development of visual materials that align with our brand standards and help communicate our corporate messaging effectively. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings fresh design ideas to a range of digital and print projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating visual assets for digital campaigns, presentations, social media, email marketing, internal communications, and event materials.
  • Work within established brand guidelines to ensure a consistent and professional look across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with senior designers, marketing managers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into effective design solutions.
  • Edit and format graphics, imagery, and layouts for use in both digital and print formats.
  • Maintain and organize creative files, design templates, and brand assets for easy access and consistency.
  • Support the design team in preparing final artwork files for print and digital distribution.
  • Stay up to date with design trends and leverage emerging AI design tools to improve efficiency and enhance the team’s creative output.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating past work is required for consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of design experience (prior corporate/agency experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and color.
  • Basic understanding of digital formats and design for social media, web, and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to grow professionally.

Compensation:

For job postings in New York State, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the State of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
