Job Title: Remote School Social Worker
Location: Remote (Mustbe licensed to practice in New Hampshire)
Employment Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Remote School Social Worker to join our student support team. In this role, you will work closely with students, families, educators, and administrators to support student well-being and academic success through virtual services. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing telehealth or remote counseling, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of school-aged children.
Provide virtual individual and group counseling services to students in accordance with IEPs, 504 plans, and general education needs.
Conduct remote social-emotional assessments, behavior evaluations, and risk assessments as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop and implement strategies that improve student outcomes.
Support crisis intervention remotely and develop safety plans when necessary.
Participate in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions via video conferencing.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Refer families to appropriate community resources and services and help coordinate access.
Advocate for equity and access to mental health services and educational supports for all students.
Stay current on best practices, legal regulations, and school social work policies in New Hampshire.
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Valid New Hampshire DOE certification as a School Social Worker.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or LICSW in New Hampshire preferred.
Minimum of 12 years experience in a K-12 school setting, preferably with remote or telehealth experience.
Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed practices, and school-based mental health supports.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Comfortable using technology platforms for video conferencing, case documentation, and communication.
This is a remote position; candidates must have a secure, private workspace and reliable internet connection.
