Job Description NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week in order to be considered for this position.
Nordstrom has an opportunity for a results-oriented and driven Finance Manager (IC Manager) to join the Sales Finance Team, focusing on growing the store side of the business. This experienced individual will be highly equipped in financial modeling and critical thinking skills, will demonstrate effective communication through regular business partnership, and will utilize strong attention to detail to distill storylines for all levels of the business. Challenging standard operating procedures in pursuit of innovation, collaboration and efficiency, you will play a critical role in supporting our Nordstrom Rack expansion efforts and will define the vision of success in an ambiguous space, identifying and surfacing learning opportunities along the way.
A day in the life... - Work closely with counterparts across the business to deliver Rack Strategic growth, relying on partnership with merchandising, capital finance, strategy, data & analytics, finance COE, and others in a quest to strengthen our off-price business.
- Assume the role of key contributor in laying the groundwork for launching ~25 Rack Stores in the next year, creating a long-term strategy to aid in future expansion efforts.
- Lead the development of store sales & funnel plans, closely monitor business performance, and anticipate deviations from trend by drawing on past experiences.
- Support Nordstrom core growth through the lens of delivering what the customer wants, focusing on accuracy and scalability; facilitate inflection of our NYC business with an emphasis on achievable and repeatable growth.
- Embrace continuous change as we migrate planning models to Anaplan and act as a forward thinker when it comes to ensuring consistency and increasing productivity in financial planning processes.
- Effectively prioritize competing business needs, seek out comprehensive understanding of business topics and interdependencies, build trust with partners through reliable work.
- Contribute directly to the career development of a rotational financial analyst
You own this if you have... - Bachelor's degree (business, finance, economics, and/or similar field)
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, modeling, budgeting, and managing complex data sets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience up-leveling complex analysis to Executive and Board level presentations
- Team player with a positive attitude and proven ability to develop effective and influential business relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience with SQL, advanced datasets, and Anaplan preferred
- Experience partnering with business leaders to identify actions and levers to improve business trajectory.

Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
