Rate of Pay: $ 15.00-16.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes specialized document scanning equipment and computer-based applications to digitize paper documents and secure them in a designated electronic archive or database.
  • Reviews and adheres to the project specific parameters relevant to the scanning process.
  • Retrieves and returns project materials from the Records Center in accordance with departmental and safety procedures; sorts and prepares documents in preparation for scanning process.
  • Conducts quality check of digital images; ensures quality and completeness per internal department policies and project parameters.
  • Records and reports work product and completion data per internal department policy and procedure.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Capability to follow HIPAA guidelines relative to sensitive document handling and destruction.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 60lbs on occasion.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in an office setting desired.
