Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst / Data Business Analyst to join our growing team. This hybrid role is responsible for analyzing complex data sets, generating meaningful insights, and supporting strategic decision-making across all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements with technical data solutions by building intuitive dashboards, structuring analytical models, and delivering data visualizations that support actionable business recommendations. Experience with Salesforce Reporting, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau is essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
•Collect, extract, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
•Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and database systems (Snowflake, Azure, or AWS)
•Develop business intelligence reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
•Translate business needs into clear data requirements and KPIs
•Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities through data mining and analysis
•Provide actionable insights to support strategic planning and performance optimization
•Work with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing etc.) to support analytics needs
•Monitor and ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity
•Create and present executive-level reports and data storytelling presentations
•Support the development of predictive models and machine learning use cases (optional)
Daily Activities:
•Review daily communications to identify and prioritize analytics requests
•Participate in stakeholder meetings to define reporting or data solution needs
•Query databases and perform deep-dive analysis on KPIs and business performance
•Develop, publish, and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports
•Investigate data anomalies and recommend solutions to improve data processes
•Collaborate with fellow analysts and developers on ongoing reporting and system improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
•Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in data analytics and business reporting
•Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages: SQL, Python, R
•Strong experience in Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., Power Query, Pivot Tables, Data Models)
•Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to convey complex data in simple terms
•High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
•3-5 years of experience working with large, complex data sets in a business environment
•Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
•Understanding of business process improvement and KPI development
•Experience working in or supporting departments such as Operations, Finance, or Sales
•Salesforce experience is a plus
•Knowledge of statistical methodologies and exposure to predictive analytics models
•Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or Snowflake (optional but beneficial)
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 -$100,000
