Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced construction foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general construction with an understanding of Framing, Drywall, Concrete, roofing, and plumbing. The idea candidate will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in both field and office environments. As a construction foreman, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. In field experience a must!
Responsibilities:
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
• Collaborate with, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Conduct on-site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, cost analysis reports, and estimating.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment as needed.
• Assist in resolving conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant construction experience (in field).
• Preferred experience in commercial and government construction projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and nights as required by project schedules.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
