Job Description
*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician's assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in working with various tools and equipment. This role is for a helper to ensure that all jobs are completed correctly with attention to detail. This role can quickly turn into you becoming a full-time technician with a much higher earning potential.
*Duties*
- Assist with routine installations of Fleet and Heavy Equipment auto glass
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed glass and seals.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with equipment movement and installation.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and repair of vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working with auto glass.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician in an automotive setting.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Experience in auto glass repair or replacement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
