Ventura Low Voltage & Security is seeking a dedicated and reliable Low Voltage and Security Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone who is not only skilled but also adaptable, trainable, and eager to learn . While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate who is reliable, smart, and a quick learner . You’ll be a key part of our operations, working on projects throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties .

Responsibilities:

• Install and service security alarm systems, IP surveillance, access control systems, and network wiring.
• Run conduit and electrical wiring , including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
• Troubleshoot system installations to ensure everything works properly.
• Complete all wiring and connections , making sure systems meet customer and contractual requirements.
• Document all installation issues, actions, and resolutions thoroughly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security installation, low voltage systems, or a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train a reliable candidate.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check (FBI & DOJ) and drug screening .
• Physical ability to climb, crawl, lift up to 50 pounds , and work in small spaces.
• Ability to qualify for a State of California ACE card .
• Must possess your own basic hand tools .

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.

Work Location: On the road, across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties.
