Job Description

We are brand stewards for multiple global brands and we have a strong focus on strategy and creative development for consumer packaged goods and point of sale communication – Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Starbucks and Nestlé, among many other brands.Chase Design Group, an award-winning branding agency, is seeking a 3D Visualization Artist, specializing in the development of 3D and motion graphics who is well versed in packaging, in-store displays, environments, and crafting and telling compelling visual stories. 5-6 years working as a 3D Visualizer and Motion Graphics Artist is required.

 This position will support Chase Design Group’s ongoing CPG clients by helping the design team envision and develop breakthrough work. As a member of the design/creative team, you will be involved in projects that require 3D modeling, animation, advanced lighting techniques and retouching. Knowledge of structural fabrication of packaging, in-store displays and realistic environments is a key aspect of this position.

 This position also includes development of 2D and 3D motion graphics for our clients and to support Chase’s promotional efforts on our website and through our communication channels. The person in this position will need to be a strong storyteller with the ability to concept and craft visual ideas and storyboards and bring them to life in a compelling way. Strong technical skills such as rendering materials and finishes as well as effectively using lighting effects is critical.

Requirements

Proficiency in the following programs required:

  • Cinema 4D (modeling and animation)
  • Redshift
  • Keyshot
  • Adobe Creative Suite Overall, Illustrator and Photoshop a must
  • Adobe After Effects

Ideal Candidate:

  • Self-starter and able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent creative thinking, storytelling and design capabilities
  • Animation skills and experience
  • Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • BA or equivalent required in a design focused major
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    with accuracy and excellence
  • Ability to collaborate with other motion designers and artists

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the LA design team
  • Brainstorm with the design team on visual concepts
  • Effectively plan executional approaches to each project
  • Execute quickly and effectively with an eye for detail
  • Efficiently manage challenges and solve design problems
  • Manage time and consistently meet deadlines
  • Develop animations to support brand design and packaging presentation
  • Consistently drive excellence in design across all projects

Candidates must be capable and comfortable working remotely with teams – maintaining regular daily contact and sharing work for feedback on a fluid basis. Computer equipment will be provided but proper connectivity/bandwidth for remote work is mandatory.

We are open to candidates in the U.S. and are not required to be in the office on a daily basis.
